Welcome to 2007. This year looks like it is going to be a very busy year for the school. Aside from the normal activities like testings, we also have the Grandmaster Rhee, Ki Ha Seminar in May as well as a number of Tournaments. A Calendar of Events for the year has been put together. See attached document.

Gold Coast Martial Arts Studies Tournament 13th November 2006
On Sunday 12th November, a number of the students from the Ashmore Class took part in the Gold Coast Martial Arts Studies Annual Tournament. The tournament was held at the Nerang PCYC. All students performed very well, with all winning a place (and a trophy). This time round the competition was a little tougher, but we performed well anyway. Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha 12th October 2007
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Grandmaster Rhee, Ki Ha (9th Dan Black Belt) will be travelling to Australia to conduct two training seminars. The Queensland semianr will be held on the Gold Coast over the weekend of the 26th & 27th May 2007.

Yin Yang Taekwon-Do Tournament 18th August 2006
On the 28th October, our good friends at Yin Yang Taekwon-Do will be hosting a Sparring Tournament. When further information comes to hand, I will let you know. If you are interested in participtaing, you will need to purchase sparring equipment. See me for detail.

Children's Tournament 18th August 2006
On Sunday the 13th August, we attended the Gold Coast Martial Arts Studies tournament hled at the Nerang PCYC. This was the first tournament we had entered fighting under Karate Rules. Even so, we came away from the day having won a number of trophies. Congratulations to all those who took part and train hard for the next tournament in October.
